We've rolled out another round of updates to RealGreen Mobile 2.0, continuing our commitment to making your field operations smoother and more efficient. This release focuses on three key areas: estimates, invoicing and critical fixes that improve day-to-day usability. Estimates: More Control in the Field
We've made significant improvements to how technicians handle estimates on the go:
Access estimates from your route list – No more hunting through screens. Scheduled estimates now appear directly in your route list alongside production work, making it easy to see your full day at a glance.
Complete estimates in the field – Technicians can now complete scheduled estimates or estimate services directly from their mobile device, eliminating the need to call back to the office or wait until end of day.
Input conditions and notes on the program screen – Add estimate notes and input values for conditions right where you're working. This keeps all relevant information in one place and ensures nothing gets missed.
Mark estimates complete from the program screen – Once you've finished, mark the estimate complete without switching screens. It's a small change that saves time on every job.
Improved validations – We've added validations for source, size and route to help catch errors before they become problems. The app will now flag missing or incorrect information so you can fix it on the spot.
Better job display – When you have multiple estimates or a mix of estimates and production work for the same visit, the app now displays them more clearly. No more confusion about which job you're working on.
Invoices: View and Manage With Confidence
View invoices from the job card – Once a job's timer has started, you'll see a "View Invoice" option on both the Job Card and Job Details screen. Check invoice details without leaving your current workflow.
Manually undo invoices – Need to reverse an invoice for a service that's already been invoiced? You can now manually undo it directly from the mobile app, giving you more control over billing accuracy in the field.
Critical Fixes You'll Appreciate
We've also resolved several issues for better performance:
No more duplicate accounts – Fixed an issue that was causing RealGreen Mobile to create duplicate accounts in Service Assistant 5. Your customer data stays clean.
Route crash resolved – Resolved an issue causing the app to crash when specific routes had a NULL route description. Your routes load reliably every time.
Clock out prompt now works – RealGreen Mobile 2.0 now properly respects the mobile admin setting "Clock out prompt before exiting." Admins have control over this feature again.
Auto-calculate toggle – Added an option to turn auto-calculate functions on or off on Configure screens. This prevents unwanted auto-calculations when you're changing method, size or amount, giving you more control over when calculations happen.
